In a world with death, loss and grief are never a matter of if, only a matter of when. But Paul says that for the Christian who has lost loves ones who died trusting in Christ, hope gets mingled with grief because of the resurrection and return of Jesus. As Christians we grieve, but we grieve with great hope.
