The Song of Songs doesn’t simply give us an idealistic picture of love, sex and marriage - it also gives us one that is realistic. One that’s honest about the reality of sin, selfishness, and conflict, yet drives us to Jesus whose selfless love can save us and transform our marriages in this fallen world.
