Having a right relationship with God includes having a right relationship towards money and possessions. Yet we're all tempted to hold back from God what's rightfully His. Returning to right relationship can be indicated by faith-filled generosity towards God. And we have no greater foundation and motivation than in the gospel, where Christ who was rich became poor for our sake, so that by His poverty we may be rich in Him.
