We remember the sabbath by remembering our saviour. And we remember our saviour together as we regularly gather for worship, anticipating the rest that we can partake of truly now, and fully then. Tom Schriener says, “As Christians, then, we obey the Sabbath command by ceasing from our works, placing our trust in Christ, and starting to live into what it means to be his new-covenant people as we await his glorious return."
