Do we obey God’s laws to get saved or rather to live saved? By looking at the context of the law, we see it was one of covenant relationship. This covenant pointed forward to Christ who ultimately fulfilled the law on our behalf. And now through Christ, as members of the new covenant, we seek to obey God’s commands by the power of the Holy Spirit.
