One great threat to faithful gospel ministry is ‘projection’. That is when we project onto the ministry of the Word of God what we are going through. Paul says to Timothy ‘I am bound in chains, but the word of God is not bound!’ The gospel is God’s power unto salvation and when it is proclaimed, it is the great means by which God saves his people.
