The purpose of the book of John is for us to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. But with many in the story so far not believing, it raises the question of how God will accomplish His plans?
As we come into the final week of Jesus' life before His crucifixion, John wants to encourage us that God is still working out His plan. We should not be ashamed of the gospel, but rather live for His glory.
